Detroit mc Royce Da 5'9" is gearing up to have what may be the biggest year of his career as he preps three new releases all set to hit stores within the next three months.
While the rapper preps the release of his 5th studio album, "Street Hop," (which has been pushed back from it's original July 6, 2009 release date to September 22nd), he'll also be working on the Slaughterhouse debut LP as well as a digital EP.
The digital only EP entitled “The Revival,” will be released on July 7th and it will include new tracks from Royce’s “Street Hop” LP along with a new unreleased Slaughterhouse tracks.
Likewise, each member of Slaughterhouse will also be releasing a new digital EP throughout the month of July and each release will contain a new Slaughterhouse track that will not be included on their debut.
“I'm looking forward to releasing new music and touring this summer. Street Hop has been in the works for almost 2 years and the release date will be here before you know it," Royce is quoted as saying.
"The Revival will give people a chance to see what I've been up to and what to expect from the album.
The month of July will belong to Slaughterhouse with the release of our full length group album and solo EP's from me followed by Joell, Joey and Crooked. We will show fans why we are the ones to watch.”
"Street Hop" is being executive produced by Dj Premiere while Slaughterhouse, (slated to hit stores on July 14th) features production from Focus, The Alchemist, DJ Khalil, StreetRunner and D12's Mr. Porter.
